Welcome to my Spain Photoblogs. Bienvenido a mi fotoblogs de Espana.
This is the home page for my photoblogs of Spain. You can find links to the individual photoblog for each Spanish city at the sidebar.
These photos were taken in 2005. From the north in Galicia's Santiago de Compostela and A Coruna, central in Madrid, to the south in Andalucia's Granada and then north again to Catalunya's Barcelona.
After months of planning and preparation, I finally arrived in Spain one morning in September 2005 and was greeted by a good friend at Madrid's Barajas Airport. It was a great day in Madrid. Sunshine + cool weather. I loved it!
I took road trips on a bus when I went to the different cities of Spain, and took the underground when going around Madrid and Barcelona.
I truly enjoyed the time spent exploring this country. If someone asks me what country can possibly approximate heaven. I'd say Spain. It is heaven on earth. The land of holas and sunshine, besos y abrazos. So clean. Simple but also so full of character. Needless to say, it's my favorite country. And I look forward to the day when I can go back and experience Spain once more.
